Participating in Co-Design
October 22 | 13:30 - 16:30Free
About the workshop:
Increasingly terms like co- design and co- production are being used by services and organisations to describe the way they include people with lived experience in program design and delivery, but its not always clear what is meant. When participants understand the core principles of co-production and know what best practice looks like they are better able to prepare for participating in co-production and more empowered to contribute to the process successfully.
Who the training is for:
For people who want to use their lived experience to effectively participate in co-design and co-production processes
What will I learn?
This session will provide people with an understanding of the value and values of co-production, reflection on each person’s role within the context of co-production as well as skills to participate in authentic co-production processes
How this session fits within the broader LEDGE Project:
This workshop is part of the leadership stream. It is one of the 5 workshops that form the requirements for the lived experience leadership certificate. They can also be done as single workshops at any stage of the learning pathway.
