SA Lived Experience Collective
March 4 | 13:00 - 14:30
An event every 6 weeks that begins at 13:00 on Thursday, repeating until June 30, 2021
The LEx Collective is a network of support and solidarity, creating space for collective insights, sharing and action to take shape.
This is an open invitation for people who are actively using their lived/living experience of mental distress, social issues or injustice in South Australia, or those that want to be. You may be doing (or wanting to do this) in a paid or unpaid role, within your personal networks or community (face-to-face or online) or through being involved in advocacy, representative and co-design activities.
Sessions will be held every six weeks on Zoom, beginning Thursday August 6th, 1-3pm.
The Collective will have a loose structure, with flexibility. Some sessions will include guest speakers, skill development and reflective activities.
Whilst LELAN convene’s and will initially facilitate the LEx Collective, the goal is to support members of the lived experience community and emerging leaders to oversee and guide its development into the future.
It is our connection and coming together that matters most. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or suggested topics.
